Hi, Iโ€™m Chelsea McBrien, founder and owner of Chelsea McBrien Weddings & Events. My entrepreneurial journey began in 2012 with businesses in the pet care, graphic design, and cosmetics industries. It was through bridal makeup that I was first introduced to the wedding world, and I quickly fell in love with the energy, creativity, and joy that came with helping couples celebrate their big day. Weddings captivated me from the very beginning, not just for their beauty and emotion, but for the powerful opportunity they offer to create something truly personal and lasting. I found myself drawn to every detail, from timelines to table-scapes, and I knew I had discovered more than a job, Iโ€™d found my calling. Thereโ€™s nothing more fulfilling than bringing a coupleโ€™s dream day to life and watching it unfold with intention, elegance, and heart.

With degrees in English, Education, and Communications from Pensacola State College & the University of West Florida, Iโ€™ve combined my background in business and design with a deep passion for planning. That unique blend of experience led me to launch Chelsea McBrien Weddings & Events, where I now have the privilege of turning my clientsโ€™ visions into unforgettable celebrations across the Gulf Coast. In our second year, we were honored to be named Pensacolaโ€™s Best Wedding Planning Serviceโ€”a reflection of the amazing couples Iโ€™ve had the joy of serving. Whether itโ€™s managing details behind the scenes or sharing in a slice of wedding cake, I truly love what I do and feel incredibly grateful to walk alongside my clients during such a meaningful season of life.

Outside of work, Iโ€™m a proud wife and mom to three beautiful girls Molly, Everley, and Ellanore. We love sunshine, travel, and making memories wherever we go.

How many weddings have you planned?

With over 100 weddings under our belts, we are highly experienced in our industry and are prepared for any situation that might come up during the planning process! We have planned weddings from Mississippi to Central Florida and beyond! Every wedding is unique and special in their own way and we have a pride in every wedding we help plan and coordinate. It is our honor and privilege to be awarded Pensacola's Best Wedding Planner in 2023.  

Do you have a list of
preferred vendors?

We sure do! From wedding photographers to ๏ฌ‚orists and caterers, weโ€™ve worked with some of the best companies in the industry & would love to share their information with you! Upon booking with our team you will receive our special Vendor Collection and insider access to the most premier vendors in our region! We have hand selected extraordinary vendors to come together and create your Wedding Dream Team!

How do you deal with
wedding day disasters?

We always make sure there is a back-up plan for every situation. By staying organized and maintaining clear communication throughout the planning process, we do our best to eliminate issues before they arise. We use our best judgement to ensure details and last minute emergencies are handled with ease. Communication is pivotal in our execution to ensure you and your guests are pleased with our services. We ask that communication stays flowing during the planning process so all of your expectations are met seamlessly. 

Will you handle our contracts
and vendor payments?

For your convenience, we do not handle the payments but we will always prefer to review your contracts with you. Contracts are vital to ensure everyone is on the same page and we want to ensure you have everything you need with all of your vendors.
